Carbonation test
Standard: EN 13295, EN 14630

The test allows the measurement of the depth of carbonation through the surface of concrete.
The set consists of:
- Two spray bottles capacity 250 cc. with phenolphthalein solution and distilled water,
- Depth measuring calibre.
The surface of the concrete is sprayed with phenolphthalein to detect the loss of alkalinity associated with carbonic acid.
Risk carbonate content for induced corrosion can be measured, in correlation with concrete coverage.
